Eco-friendly canopy

The dense canopy (200 threads/in²) of The Automatic is made from recycled plastic bottles (rPET). For each The Automatic produced, over six 500 ml bottles were recycled. The canopy also comes with a water-repellent coating (REACH compliant).

Technical frame

The frame of the Automatic is made from an alloy of various well-made materials, ensuring flexibility and wind resistance. Its standout feature is the automatic mechanism, allowing you to open but also close the umbrella in an instant.

Composition

Canopy: 100% recycled polyester.
Frame: a mix of steel, aluminum, and fibreglass.
Cover: microfibre, recycled polyester.

Innovative cover

Like each Beau Nuage umbrellas, The Automatic is equipped with an absorbent cover. This cover is designed to solve the problem of wet bulky umbrellas, which are often inconvenient in public transport or when getting in a shop. Simply place your wet umbrella in its cover and store it in your bag without worrying about losing it or soaking your personal belongings.

Triple-layer technology

The triple-layer technology of our covers is patented.
The inner layer is a microfibre fabric that absorbs water from the umbrella. The middle layer is a waterproof material.
Finally, the outer layer is an umbrella fabric with the same coating as The Automatic.

Closed umbrella size: 28cm.
Weight of umbrella in its cover: 400g.

It is best to shake the umbrella well before storing it in its cover. After use, it is advisable to leave the umbrella and cover open to facilitate their drying.
The cover can be machine-washed on a delicate cycle at 30°C.
